Abstract

ABSTRACT Ari Syahputra, NPM: 71190312060, Title: The Effect of Work Attitude and Work Environment on Employee Performance of the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office, Supervised by: Yusrita.,S.E.,M.M as Supervisor I, and Ismail Nst.,S.E.,M.M as Supervisor II, Thesis: 2023 One of the efforts to improve employee performance is by paying attention to work attitudes and employee work environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work attitude on employee performance and the effect of work environment on employee performance as well as the effect of work attitude and work environment on employee performance of the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office. This study uses quantitative data types by distributing questionnaires to 59 employees of the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office out of 143 employees calculated using the Slovin formula. The data analysis techniques used are data quality tests with validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests with normality, heteroscedasticity and multicolonierity tests and hypothesis testing with t tests, F tests and determination tests. From the results of the study it can be concluded that work attitude has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work attitude and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance at the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office. Keywords: work attitude, work environment, employee performance
