dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Bambang Kurniawan, 71190312092.” The Influence of Human Resource Development and Work Attitude on PTPN V Employee Performance in Tanjung Medan Palm Oil Plantation, Pujud Rokan Hilir District”. Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. The problem in this study is the low level of human resource development at PTPN V oil palm plantations Tanjung Medan Kec. Pujud Rokan Hilir and the lack of awareness of the importance of paying attention to attitude, the relationship has positive implications in relation to the work behavior of a person at PTPN V Tanjung Medan oil palm plantation, Pujud Rokan Hilir district. This type of research uses quantitative research. The population in this study were 153 employees with a sample of 153 employees. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling with the help of the SPSS Version 22 for windows data processing program. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, the following results were obtained: The results of the partial test (t test) on the human resource development variable were t-count 3.109 > t-table 2.0129, which means that there is a positive and significant influence on the performance of PTPN V oil palm plantation employees.while for the incentive variable the partial test result (t test) is tcount 1.936 > ttable 2.0129 Sig. 0.00 > 0.05 means that there is an influence of work attitude on the performance of PTPN V oil palm plantation employees. Based on the results of the simultaneous test, the Fcount value is 15.108 while the Ftable is 2.81 (15.108 > 0.05) while the significant level is less than 0.05, namely (0.00 <0.05) which means there is a significant positive influence between the influence of human resource development and work attitudes on employee performance. Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, the value of Adjusted R Square is 0.463 (46.3%). This means that the ability of the independent variable in this study affects the dependent variable by 46.3% while the remaining 53.7% can be explained by variables other than the independent variable.
