Abstract: PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR TEKS NEGOSIASI BERBASIS ETNIS BATAK SIMALUNGUN BERBANTUAN APLIKASI MENINGKATKAN PEMBELAJARAN KELAS X SMK PAB 5 KLAMBIR V Oleh : Heri Setiawan 71180513048 Herisetiawan130585@gmail.com ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan, validasi, kelayakan, dan keefektifitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis etnis batak Simalungun berbantuan aplikasi pada materi teks negosiasi kelas X SMK. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK PAB 5 Klambir Lima. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D meliputi: Pendefisian (Define), Perencanaan (Design), Pengembangan (Development), dan Diseminasi (Dissemination) dengan populasi berjumlah 48 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu sebuah produk bahan ajar berupa buku teks berbasis etnis batak Simalungun. Berdasarkan Hasil persentase validasi ahli materi yaitu validator I dengan persentase 75%, dan validator II dengan persentase 98%. Sedangkan hasil persentase validasi ahli desain yaitu validator I dengan persentase 96%, dan validator II dengan persentase 84%. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar buku teks valid dan layak diuji cobakan di sekolah. Bahan ajar buku teks diuji cobakan di sekolah SMK PAB 5 Klambir Lima dengan sampel yaitu kelas X TKJ-2, respon guru dengan presantase 92%. Dalam kegiatan ini diperoleh data berupa hasil angket respon siswa yang terdiri dari hasil uji coba kelompok kecil yang dikategorikan “Sangat Memuaskan”, hasil uji coba terbatas yang dikategorikan “Sangat Memuaskan” dan hasil uji coba lebih luas dengan kategori “Sangat Memuaskan.” Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar valid dan layak digunakan di sekolah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis etnis batak Simalungun yang dikembangkan sangat efektif dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di dalam kelas. This study was conducted in SMK PAB 5 Klambir V. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model including: Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination with a population as 48 students. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 23 students. The types of data include qualitative and quantitative data. The result of the study is a product of teaching materials in the form of a textbook based on Simalungun Batak ethnic. According to the results of the material expert validation, validator I as 75%, and validator II as 98%. While the results of validation by design experts are validator I as 96%, and validator II as 84%. These data indicated that the teaching materials are valid and feasible to be tested in schools. The materials were tested in SMK PAB 5 Klambir V with a class X TKJ-2 as the sample, the teacher's response was 92%. The data were obtained from questionnaires consisting of the results of a small group trial categorized as "Very Satisfactory", the results of a limited trial categorized as "Very Satisfactory" and the results of a wider trial with the category "Very Satisfactory." These data indicated that the teaching materials are valid and suitable to be used in schools. It can be concluded that the teaching materials based on the Simalungun Batak ethnic are very effective and suitable to be used in classroom learning.
