dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT INVENTORY OF ORNAMENTAL PLANTS OF THE ARACEAE FAMILY AT MADIRSAN PARK AREA OF DESA BANGUN SARI BARU IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MONOGRAPH TEACHING MATERIALS Email : riskarahmaputri82@gmail.com This study aims to inventory the morphological characteristics of plants, and the number of the types of ornamental plants of Aruceae (Taro) family found in Madirsan Park Area, especially in hamlets XI and XII of Bangun Sari Baru Village, where the results of this inventory can be used to develop the Biology teaching materials. This study was conducted by direct observation and recording of Araceae plant species in Madirsan Park Area, especially in hamlets XI and XII of Bangun Sari Baru Village in June-August 2024 using exploratory descriptive methods and purposive sampling techniques From the results of this research, 12 genera with a total of 20 species of ornamental plants in Araceae family were found, namely Aglaonema commatatuan (Aglaonema), Alocasia longiloba (Alocasia), Alocasia machorrhizos (Alocasia), Alocasia micholitziana sander (Alocasia), Anthurnum andreaman linden (Anthurium), Anthurium scherzerianum (Anthurium), Caladinon bis color (Caladium), Colocasia escidenta (Colocasia), Dieffenbachia seguine (Dieffenbachia), Epipremmen aureum (Epipremnum), Epipremnum pinnatum (Epipremnum). Monstera deliciosa (Monstera), Philodendron crubencens (Philodendron), Philodendron hederaceum (Philodendron), Plulodendron martiamum (Philodendron), Philodendron xanadu (Philodendron). Spathiphyllum connifolium (Spathiphyllum), Syngonum podophyllum (Syngonium), Syngontum wendlandi (Syngonium), and Thatanatophyllum xanadu (Thaumatophyllum). The most dominant ornamental plants at Araceae family level in Madirsan Park are in the Philodendron genus with 4 species of ornamental plants. Araceae has characteristics in the form of a spadix inflorescence surrounded by a spathe This family generally has heart-shaped leaves with a notched base, pinnate leaf veins, and a wet stem that grows upright. Each species in Araceae family, such as Monstera deliciosa has heart-shaped leaves with serrated edges, while Anthurium andreanuni has heart-shaped leaves with flat edges. Dieffenbachia segune has oval and blunt leaves, and Caladium biscolor has elliptical leaves with serrated edges. These plants are included in the monocotyledon group that has fibrous roots The results of this ornamental plant inventory can be used to develop the biology teaching materials in the form of Monographs Keywords : Inventory, Ornamental Plants, Madirsan Park, Monograph | en_US |
