dc.description.abstractABSTRACT THE ROLE OF THE ACHIEVEMENT TEACHER IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' CHARACTERS AT MTs AL-JAM'IYATUL WASHLIYAH, PERCUTSEI TUAN DISTRICT, DELI SERDANG DISTRICT School as an educational institution has a very strategic role in forming, developing, building and directing students.However, it cannot fully meet expectations, this phenomenon is characterized by the poor moral or moral condition of the younger generation. In educational institutions themselves, various educational problems often occur where there are students who violate school regulations such as not doing their assignments, coming late, skipping classes andcheat.The aim of this research is to reveal the role of moral aqidah teachers in coaching students at MTs Al-jam'iyatul Washliyah, what the moral condition of students is, what factors influence student morals at MTs Aljam'iyatul Washliyah.This research is descriptive qualitative research.Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis that the researchers have carried out, the role of the moral aqidah teacher in developing students' morals is carried out through tahfidz activities, memorizing deposits every Monday-Friday, speaking good words, being firm, and behaving well and politely.The moral condition of the students is quite good, this is proven by the students performing congregational prayers, greeting teachers and upperclassmen, protecting the environment, respecting teachers, respecting each other among their friends.Factors that influence the development of students' morals are family, school and community factors.
