Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF PROVIDING THE FAMILY HOPE PROGRAM (PKH) ON IMPROVING THE PRACTICE OF ISLAMIC RELIGION IN COMMUNITIES IN BANGUN RAYA VILLAGE, SIMALUNGUN DISTRICT ADI SAHPUTRA PURBA NIM. 71180211060 Islamic education study program The religious practice referred to as above is the community's ability to carry out Islamic teachings in the form of worship, both special worship such as carrying out congregational prayers at the mosque, fasting in Ramadan while the practice of public worship is attending recitations, gatherings and other religious activities. The problem of this research is how is the form of giving the Family Hope program (PKH) in Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency. How is the practice of the Islamic religion of the community in Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency. Does the provision of the Family Hope program (PKH) have an effect on increasing the practice of Islam in the community in Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a sample population of 60 people through data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis using statistics. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the form of providing the Family Hope program (PKH) in Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency is in the form of BLT (Direct Cash Assistance), the form of groceries and the form of both. These three forms of PKH assistance are given according to their needs. Prior to receiving PKH assistance, the community's practice of Islam in Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency was quite low both in terms of praying, fasting, attending recitations and participating in other religious activities. However, after receiving PKH assistance, there was an increase in religious practice. The provision of the Family Hope program (PKH) has had an effect on increasing the practice of the Islamic religion in the Bangun Raya Village, Simalungun Regency, this can be seen from the comparison between r-count and r-table where r-count > from r-table or 0.80 > 0.26 and this is at a very high level of significance.
