ABSTRACT Ardinda Priyha Alwaini, NPM : 71190313021, Title : Analysis of Sales and Cash Receipt Accounting Information Systems at the Grand Inna Hotel Medan, Supervised by: Mr. Ramadona Simbolon, S.E., M.Sc as supervisor I, Mrs. Farida Khairani Lubis, S.E., M.Sc as advisor II, 2023 thesis An accounting information system is a system that provides accounting and financial information along with other information obtained from the routine process of accounting transactions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the sales and cash receipts accounting information system at the Grand Inna Hotel Medan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this study is the application of sales and cash receipts accounting information systems at the Grand Inna Medan Hotel is a combination of information technology and the activities of the people who use it to support operations and management. The sales accounting information system already uses the Power Pro System which runs well and according to accounting information system procedures, it's just that there are Power Pro System Troubles at the end of the month such as the Power Pro System error cannot be opened or logged in which can interfere and hinder reports at the end of the month. The cash receipts accounting information system has been running quite well and according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), this can be seen in the computer program which is the application of the accounting information system used, namely the Power Pro System and the Reivable Power Account System.
