One of them is blood clam shell waste. Efforts to minimize blood clam shell waste can be done by making blood clam shells as a coarse aggregate additional material. The method used in this study was an experimental method with various percentages of using blood clam shells with variations of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%. The samples used in this study were 5 pieces for each variation and the asphalt content used was 5.5%. From the results of the Marshall characteristics test in the Marshall Test with 5.5% asphalt content, the average asphalt content was 66 gr. The highest flow was found in the 10% mixture of 3.88 mm, the highest stability was found in the 10% mixture of 1,504.61 kg , the highest VMA was found in a 10% mixture of 39.35%, a stable VIM of 0.97%, the highest VFB was found in a 7.5% mixture of 97.87%, and the highest MQ was found in a 10% mixture of 406.61 gr /mm. The large percentage of shells causes stability and flow values to increase. While VMA, VFB, and MQ decreased and increased while VIM was stable. From the results of the Marshall Test using these shells are still able to withstand traffic loads and can be used on low-volume road pavements.
