Dibimbing oleh Dr. Supar Wasesa.,S.E.,M.M sebagai Pembimbing I dan Syafrizal.S.E.,M.M sebagai Pembimbing II, Skripsi : 2023 Penelitian ini berjudul pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Adapun rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana motivasi kerja, Pengembangan karir, terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan penyelamatan kabupaten deli serdang. Teknik penarikan sampel yang diambil adalah Sampling Jenuh dikarenakan jumlah populasi relatif sedikit, maka dalam pengambilan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini mengambil seluruh jumlah populasi untu dijadikan sampel,dan sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 59 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kabupaten Deli Serdang, variabel pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kabupaten Deli Serdang, serta variabel motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. This study entitled the influence of work motivation and career development on employee performance at the Deli Serdang Regency Fire and Rescue Service. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is work motivation, career development, on the performance of employees at the Fire and Rescue Service in Deli Serdang Regency. The sampling technique taken was Saturated Sampling because the population was relatively small, so in taking the number of samples in this study, the entire population was taken as a sample, and the sample in this study was 59 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive and quantitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the variable Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Deli Serdang Regency Fire and Rescue Service, the career development variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Deli Serdang Regency Fire and Rescue Service, as well as work motivation and career development on employee performance at the Deli Serdang Regency Fire and Rescue Service.
