Abstract: ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENALARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP RAKYAT PANCUR BATU Mhd Ibal Nasution Email: Muhamadibal027@gmail.com Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP dan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan penalaran matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP. Kualitas produk yang dikembangkan dinilai berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Prosedur pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D, yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Oleh Karena itu, keterbatasan penelitian ini dilakukan hanya tahap Develop (Pengembangan). Subjek Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Rakyat Pancur Batu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah lembar penilaian RPP dan LKS untuk mengukur kevalidan, angket respon siswa dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengukur kepraktisan, dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematika untuk mengukur keefektifan. Kualitas kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan skor rata-rata RPP yaitu 3,71 dari skor maksimal 5,00 dengan kriteria baik dan skor rata-rata LKPD yaitu 3,60 dari skor maksimal 5,00 dengan kriteria baik. Kualitas kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria praktis berdasarkan skor rata-rata angket respon siswa 3,62 dari maksimal 5,00 dengan kriteria baik dan persentase rata-rata lembar observasi keterlaksanaan kegiataan pembelajaran yaitu 70% pada uji coba dengan klasifikasi atau kriteria cukup baik. Kualitas keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post-test dengan peningkatan rata-ratanya 63,5 meningkat menjadi 81,75 pada posttest. Kemudian dalam penelitian ini sudah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yang baik dan juga hasil tes kemampuan adalah dapat menngkatkan penalaran matematika siswa yang secara efektif. The quality of the product being developed is assessed based on aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The procedure of developing learning tools refers to the 4-D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Therefore, the limitation of this study was that it was only at the Develop stage. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of Pancur Batu People's Middle School. The instruments used to measure the quality of learning tools developed were the RPP and LKS assessment sheets to measure validity, student response questionnaires and observation sheets for the implementation of learning activities to measure practicality, and tests of mathematical reasoning ability to measure effectiveness. The quality of the learning device validity meets the valid criteria based on an average score of RPP of 3.71 out of a maximum score of 5.00 with good criteria and the average score of LKPD is 3.60 from a maximum score of 5.00 with good criteria. The practicality quality of the learning device fulfills the practical criteria based on the average score of the student questionnaire responses 3.62 out of a maximum of 5.00 with good criteria and the average percentage of observations of the implementation of learning activities is 70% in trials with good classification or criteria. The quality of the effectiveness of learning tools meets the effective criteria based on the results of the pretest and post-test with an increase in the average of 63.5 increased to 81.75 at the posttest. Then in this study has met the criteria of good effectiveness and also the results of the ability test is able to improve students' mathematical reasoning effectively.
