Abstract: This thesis deals with a study of moral values in Jodi Picoult Novel My Sister’s Keeper, published in 2004. The purpose of this study is to find the elements of moral values contained in Jodi Picoult’s novel My Sister’s Keeper. The elements are Basic Moral Principles and Moral Personality Attitudes. The theory used to analyse this topic was put forward by Franz Magniz-Suseno (2005). The method used to analyse this topic is a qualitative research method. Based on this research, the writer found two result. First, Basic Moral Principles result in good attitude and justice. Second, Moral Personality Attitudes bring about willingness to take responsibility and moral courage.
