| Abstract: | This study aims to analyse the Code Mixing and Code Switching among teenagers in Aaron’s English Speaking Club, using a theory called Qualitative Grounded Method by Kathy Charmaz, and using Probability Sampling Method by Arikunto. Code Mixing is a mixture of some words from two or more different languages with the same context in one sentence. Meanwhile, Code Switching is a communication system that involves speakers alternately switching from one language to another. Both Code Mixing and Code Switching are parts of Sociolinguistics. Since it means having linguistics in social activities. This study is done by giving a questions and answers interview in order to analyse their using of Code Mixing in each conversation, and their awareness towards Code Switching. The writer hopes this study will give benefits for many people. |
