dc.description.abstractABSTRACT This study is about to increase students’s ability to implement English Simple Sentence to create sentence. It was conducted by using qualitative quantitative research. Task Based Language Teaching is one of a technique in the teaching and learning materials. The students were given something contradictory to the material, so that they can explore the characteristic of concept and also be able to critically. The research was started on March 25th, 2024 until April 25th, 2024. This research was conducted in two cycles. The researcher used three instrument observation, test, and documentation. Based on the result of this research the use of task based learning can improve the student’s ability in using simple sentence of second year students in MTS Asmah Zaijuli Hamid. It could be seen from the student’s score, In the cycle I to cycle 2. In cycle 1, 15 (75%) that students could 5 (25%) students could not pass the minimum standard achievement (KKM). In cycle 2, all had improved the minimum standard achievement (KKM). The minimum standard achievement (KKM) of English lesson was 75 (seven- five). Additionally, the observation showed that the students become active during teaching and learning process. Keywords: Language, BasedTeaching, Simple Sentence.en_US
