Abstract: ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of representation of ignorance and to understand how the representation of ignorance in novel Laut Bercerita tells. The author uses the theory of John Galtung. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods to explain and explain the types and how the representation of ideas from the text in the novel. The results of this study are there are three types of structural violence representation, direct, cultural violence and violence representation of physical, physichalogical, and functional violence.
