dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT This study analyses the Impact of fake marriage to the protagonis life in tess wakefiled’s novel purple hearts. this study focusing of the negative impact. This is qualitatif descriptive research which used Abrams’ theory to collect and analyse the data. some theory relevant to the study are used to support the analysis. The result shows that there are several impacts of fake marriage found in the novel, namely legal consequense, financial consequences, and emotional consequences. the subject of this study, the protagonist’s having a fake marriage to get the many to overcome their personal financial problems.
