Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Khofifah Pasi, NPM : 71190212005, Title ANALYSIS OF COMMUNITY VIEWS ON WIFE WHO RECEIVED THE TREATMENT OF HOUSEHOLD VIOLENCE (KDRT) IN BARNA VILLAGE, KEL. BATANG BERUH KEC. SIDIKALANG KAB. DAIRI Domestic Violence (KDRT) is violence that occurs from husband to wife in the household both physical, psychological and sexual violence, many wives become victims of violence from their husbands such as beatings, excessive scolding of wives, husbands cursing at wives and so on . The treatment of domestic violence occurs due to various factors including the emotional nature of the husband, the condition of the husband who likes to drink and play gambling, the husband's infidelity, the economic situation of the household and so on. The purpose of this study was to analyze domestic violence (KDRT) that occurred in Pasi Village, Berampu District, Dairi Regency. To analyze the factors that cause domestic violence (KDRT) that occurred in Barna Village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency. To analyze the public's view of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that occurred in Barna Village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency. This research is a qualitative research, namely research that describes objective conditions in the field and then uses interviews described in this thesis. The results of this study illustrate that domestic violence (KDRT) that occurred in Barna Village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency had and occurred from several families where Domestic Violence (KDRT) was physical and psychological violence, so that some resulted in divorce and a few did not result in divorce occurs. Factors causing domestic violence (KDRT) that occurred in Barna Village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency in general were due to the influence of drug use, due to drinking, gambling, infidelity, the economy, lack of religious knowledge and not understanding local customs. The public's view of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that occurred in Barna village, Sidikalang District, Dairi Regency is a disgrace, harassment of wives and a form of irresponsibility of a husband towards his wife, because from a religious perspective, and the Law that domestic violence is not justified and should be avoided.
