SERAPAN HARA N, P, K GULMA Asystasia gangetica (L.) T. ANDERSON SEBAGAI COVER CROP DI PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT TAHUN TANAM 2017 DAN 2000

Abstract

RINGKASAN Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Perkebunan Nasional III, jalan Emplasmen, Kebun Sei Putih, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupeten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Pada bulan Januari 2023 sampai Mei 2023. Penelitian ini dibimbing oleh Ibu Dr. Yenni Asbur, S.P., M.P.sebagai ketua pembimbing dan Ibu Dr. Yayuk Purwaningrum, S.P., M.P. selaku Anggota Komisi Pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari serapan hara A. gangetica di perkebunan kelapa sawit TT 2017 dan TT 2000. Peneitian ini menggunakan Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok non faktorial tiga ulangan dengan tahun tanam kelapa sawit sebagai perlakuan (T), yaitu: T1 = Tahun Tanam 2017 (TT 2017), T2 = Tahun Tanam 2000 (TT 2000). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahun tanam kelapa sawit berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap serapan hara, kandungan hara dan bobot kering A. gangetica. Ini berarti bahwa A. gangetica merupakan gulma yang mampu beradaptasi pada kondisi iklim mikro yang berbeda seperti kondisi iklim mikro di bawah naungan tanaman kelapa sawit TT 2017 dan TT 2000. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya disebabkan oleh kondisi kondisi tanah yang sudah mengalami degradasi akibat pemakaian herbisida secara rutin. This study aims to study the nutrient uptake of A. gangetica in oil palm plantations TT 2017 and TT 2000. This study used a threereplication non-factorial Randomized Block Design Method with the year of planting oil palm as the treatment (T), namely: T1 = Planting Year 2017 ( TT 2017), T2 = Year of Planting 2000 (TT 2000). The results of this study indicated that the year of oil palm planting had no significant effect on nutrient uptake, nutrient content and dry weight of A. gangetica. This means that A. gangetica is a weed that is able to adapt to different microclimatic conditions such as microclimatic conditions under the shade of oil palm plants TT 2017 and TT 2000.
