Abstract: RINGKASAN Penelitian dilaksanakan di PT Perkebunan Nusantara III, jalan Emlasmen, Kebun Sei Putih, Kecamatan Galang, Kabupeten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Pada bulan Februari 2023 sampai dengan Mei 2023. Peneltian ini dibimbing oleh Ibu Dr. Yenni Asbur, S.P., M.P. selaku Ketua Komisi Pembimbing dan Ibu Dr. Yayuk Purwaningrum, S.P.,M.P . selaku Anggota Komisi Pembimbing. Tujuan penelitian adalah: Untuk mempelajari pertumbuhan Aystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson di perkebunan kelapa sawit TT 2000 dan TT 2017. Untuk mempelajari pertumbuhan Nephrolepis biserrata di perkebunan kelapa sawit TT 2000 dan TT 2017. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Blok Terpisah (Split Block Design) dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama sebagai petak utama yaitu Umur kelapa sawit (U), terdiri dari dua taraf: U1 = TT 2017 U2= TT 2000 2. Faktor kedua sebagai anak petak yaitu Gulma in-situ (G), terdiri dari dua taraf: G1= Gulma N. biserrata G2 = Gulma A. gangetica. Hipotesis penelitian adalah: 1.Ada perbedaan pertumbuhan Aystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson di perkebunan kelapa sawit TT 2000 dan TT 2017. 2 Ada perbedaan pertumbuhan Nephrolepis biserrata di perkebunan kelapa sawit TT 2000 dan TT 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahun tanam kelapa sawit dan jenis gulma serta kombinasi antara kedua perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan gulma N. biserrata dan A, gangetica. Tahun tanam 2017 (U1) menghasilkan pertumbuhan jenis gulma yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tahun tanam 2000 (U2) yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan kondisi iklim mikro, di mana pada TT 2017 (28-34 °C) suhu lebih tinggi dibandingakan dengan TT 2000 (27-28 °C). Jenis gulma A. gangetica (G2) memiliki pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan gulma N. biserrata (G1), baik yang ditanam di bawah naungan kelapa sawit TT 2017 (U1) maupun TT 2000 (U2) yang disebabkan oleh sifat genetik serta syarat tumbuh tanaman. Biserrata Di Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit TT-2000 Dan TT-2017 SUMMARY The research was conducted at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III, Jalan Emlasmen, Kebun Sei Putih, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. In February 2023 to May 2023. This research was guided by Mrs. Dr. Yenni Asbur, S.P., M.P. as Chair of the Advisory Commission and Mrs. Dr. Yayuk Purwaningrum, S.P., M.P. as a member of the Advisory Commission. The aims of the research were: To study the growth of Aystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson in oil palm plantations TT 2000 and TT 2017. To study the growth of Nephrolepis biserrata in oil palm plantations TT 2000 and TT 2017. The study used a Split Block Design in a factorial randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is the main plot, namely the age of the oil palm (U), consisting of two levels: U1 = TT 2017 U2 = TT 2000 2. The second factor is a subplot, namely weeds in-situ (G), consisting of two levels: G1 = weeds N. biserrata G2 = Weed A. gangetica. The research hypotheses were: 1. There were differences in the growth of Aystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson in oil palm plantations TT 2000 and TT 2017. 2. There were differences in the growth of Nephrolepis biserrata in oil palm plantations TT 2000 and TT 2017. The results showed that the year of planting oil palm and the type of weeds and the combination of the two treatments had a significant effect on the growth of weeds N. biserrata and A. gangetica. The 2017 (U1) planting year resulted in better growth of weed species compared to the 2000 (U2) planting year due to differences in microclimatic conditions, where in 2017 TT (28-34 °C) temperatures were higher than 2000 TT (27 -28 °C). The type of weed A. gangetica (G2) has better growth compared to weed N. biserrata (G1), both planted under the shade of oil palm TT 2017 (U1) and TT 2000 (U2) due to genetic characteristics and growing conditions plant.
