dc.description.abstract | RINGKASAN Tanaman karet (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg) merupakan tanaman yang berasal dari benua Amerika dan saat ini telah menyebar luas ke seluruh dunia. Karet dikenal di Indonesia sejak masa kolonial Belanda pada tahun 1900-an. Tanaman karet merupakan komoditas perkebunan yang sangat penting peranannya di Indonesia, komoditas ini juga memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan sebagai pemasok bahan baku karet dan berperan penting dalam pelestarian lingkungan dan sumber daya hayati. Belum optimalnya produksi karet tersebut dikarenakan sebagian besar tanaman karet dikelola oleh perkebunan rakyat dengan produktivitas yang rendah. Upaya meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman karet di Indonesia merupakan langkah yang harus dilakukan. Upaya peningkatan efisiensi usaha dan peningkatan produktivitas hasil lateks melalui aktivitas penyadapan banyak mendapatkan perhatian. Salah satu teknologi yang memiliki peranan sangat besar dalam peningkatan efisiensi dan produktivitas hasil lateks adalah dengan pemberian stimulan cair dengan konsentrasiyang baik dan disesuaikan menurut tipologi klon. Penelitian dilakukan di kebun karet masyarakat, lokasi berada di Kecamatan Galang, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Ketinggian tempat 25 m diatas permukaan laut dengan jenis tanah Ultisol. Penelitian dimulai pada bulan Desember 2021 sampai Maret 2021.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pemberian kombinasi PEG dan Asam lemak dalam meningkatkan produksi tanaman karet serta mempercepat proses pemulihan kulit tanaman karet klon PB260. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian PEG 6000 dan oleokimia serta interaksi kedua faktor berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produksi lateks, kandungan kadar kering, tebal kulit serta jumlah pembuluh lateks sebelum dan sesudah aplikasi. Produksi lateks tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P1A1. Kadar karet kering tertinggi dapat di peroleh pada perlakuan P1A0 dan P1A2. Tebal kulit tertinggi dapat di peroleh pada perlakuan P1A3. Jumlah pembuluh lateks tertinggi dapat di peroleh pada perlakuan P1A2. Kata kunci : Tanaman Karet Klon PB 260, Pengaruh Pemberian PEG dan Asam Lemak. SUMMARY Rubber plant (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg) is a plant originating from the Americas and has now spread widely throughout the world. Rubber is known in Indonesia since the Dutch colonial era in the 1900s. Rubber is a plantation commodity that has a very important role in Indonesia, this commodity also makes a significant contribution as a supplier of raw materials for rubber and plays an important role in preserving the environment and biological resources. The production of rubber is not yet optimal because most of the rubber plantations are managed by smallholder plantations with low productivity. Efforts to increase the productivity of rubber plantations in Indonesia are steps that must be taken. Efforts to improve business efficiency and increase productivity of latex products through tapping activities have received a lot of attention. One technology that has a very large role in increasing the efficiency and productivity of latex is by administering liquid stimulants with good concentrations and adjusted according to clone typology. The research was conducted in a community rubber plantation, located in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Altitude of 25 m above sea level with Ultisol soil type. The research began in December 2021 to March 2021. The research aims to determine the effect of giving a combination of PEG and fatty acids in increasing rubber plant production and accelerating the recovery process of PB260 clone rubber plant skin. The results of the analysis showed that the administration of PEG 6000 and oleochemicals and the interaction of the two factors had no significant effect on latex production, dry matter content, skin thickness and the number of latex vessels before and after application. The highest latex production was obtained in the P1A1 treatment. The highest dry rubber content can be obtained in the P1A0 and P1A2 treatments. The highest skin thickness can be obtained in the P1A3 treatment.
