Abstract: RINGKASAN Penelitian ini di laksanakan di Desa Dalu 10 B, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pada ketinggian ± 35 mdpl. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan April sampai dengan bulan September 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah bibit per lubang tanam pada system tanam jajar legowo terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi padi varietas inpari 32. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan, faktor pertama yaitu jumlah bibit dengan 3 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: J1 = 1 semai, J2 = 2 semai dan J3 = 3 Semai. Faktor kedua yaitu sistem tanam dengan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu S0 = konvensional, S1 = jajar legowo 2:1, S2 = jajar legowo 3:1dan S3 = jajar legowo 4:1. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, produksi gabah per plot dan bobot gabah 1000 bulir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman jumlah bibit tanaman padi berpengaruh meningkatan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan per rumpun dan panjang malai namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan produktif, produksi gabah per plot dan bobot gabah 1000 bulir. Jumlah bibit 1 semai merupakan perlakuan terbaik hal ini diperlihatkan dari pertumbuhan jumlah anakan dan produksi yang dihasilkan. Sistem polatanam tanam padi jajar legowo berpengaruh meningkatkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, panjang malai dan produksi gabah per plot namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot gabah 1000 bulir. Sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1 merupakan perlakuan terbaik. Interaksi dari penanaman jumlah bibit dan sistem tanam yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati. Kata Kunci : Oryza sativa, Jumlah Bibit, Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo SUMMARY This research was carried out in Dalu 10 B Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. At an altitude of 35 masl. This research was conducted from April to September 2022. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of seeds per planting hole in the Jajar Legowo cropping system on the growth and production of Inpari 32 rice variety. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) model with 2 factors treatment, the first factor is the number of seedlings with 3 levels of treatment, namely: 111 seedling, J2=2 seedlings and J3-3 seedlings. The second factor was the cropping system with 4 treatment levels, namely SO-conventional, SI jajar legowo 2:1, S2 - jajar legowo 3:1 and S3 - jajar legowo 4:1. Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers per clump, number of productive tillers, panicle length, grain production per plot and grain weight of 1000 grains. The results showed that planting a number of rice seedlings had an effect on increasing plant height, number of tillers per clump and panicle length but had no significant effect on the number of productive tillers, grain production per plot and grain weight of 1000 grains. Number of seeds 1 seedling is the best treatment this is shown from the growth in the number of fillers and production produced. The Jajar Legowo rice cropping system had an effect on increasing plant height, number of tillers per clump, number of productive tillers per clump, panicle length and grain production per plot but had no significant effect on grath weight of 1000 grains Jajar legowo planting system 2:1 is the best treatment. The interaction of planting the number of seeds and the different cropping systems had no significant effect on all observed parameters.
