HUBUNGAN KEJADIAN AKNE VULGARIS TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI MAHASISWI FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Kecantikan merupakan hal yang tidak asing bagi seorang wanita karena keberadaannya selalu diharapkan pada diri wanita. Akne Vulgaris (AV) atau yang lebih dikenal jerawat adalah penyakit kulit yang bersifat multifaktorial yang disebabkan oleh faktor genetik, hormon, dan bakteri. Akne vulgaris sering terjadi pada usia remaja ditandai dengan komedo, jaringan parut, pustul, papul, dan nodul. Prevalensi akne vulgaris di Kawasan Asia Tenggara terdapat 40 – 80% kasus. Akne vulgaris paling sering menyerang > 80% populasi dunia selama beberapa periode kehidupan dan 85% remaja di negara maju. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan kejadian akne vulgaris terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswi. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dengan metode survey analitik dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan cross sectional study. Hasil: Kejadian akne vulgaris pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara lebih banyak yang mengalami kejadian akne vulgaris ringan yakni dengan presentase sebanyak sebanyak 44 orang (66,7%) dari 66 orang responden. Kepercayaan diri pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara lebih banyak kepercayaan diri tinggi yaitu dengan presentase sebanyak 45 orang (68,2%) dari 66 orang responden. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan dari kejadian akne vulgaris terhadap kepercayaan diri pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Islam Sumatera Utara dengan nilai kemaknaan p = 0,00 < p = 0,05. Akne Vulgaris (AV) or better known acne is a multifactorial skin disease caused by genetic, hormone, and bacterial factors. Akne vulgaris often occurs at adolescent agents marked with comedo, scarring, pustin, papul, and nodules. The acne prevalence in southeast Asia is 40-80%. Acnees most frequently strike > 80% of the world's population over some periods of life and 85% of teenagers in developed countries. Objective: To find out the relationship of Akne's vulgaris oneship to the confidence of the students. Methods : The type of research conducted was research with an analytic survey method using a cross sectional study approach. Result: Genesis Akne Vulgaris on Faculty of Medicine Medical University of Sumatra North Summary Merious Mark Gunnya Vulgaris Genuine with a percentage as much as many as 44 people (66.7%) of 66 respondents. The defense of students' Faculty of Medicine Islamic University of North Sumatra more high confidence is by percentage of 45 people (68.2%) of 66 respondents. Conlusion: There is a relationship from the incidence of Akne Vulgaris against confidence in the student of the Faculty of Medical Medical Islamat North with the value of the p=0.00<p=0.05.
