DERAJAT KEPERCAYAAN DIRI REMAJA AKHIR DENGAN PRE AND POST PEMBERIAN TERAPI ACNE VULGARIS

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Perkembangan masa remaja menuju dewasa awal merupakan periode transisi yang akan menyebabkan berbagai perubahan hormonal, fisik, psikologis maupun sosial. Pembentukan acne vulgaris pada remaja, penyebab utama salah satunya adalah faktor usia. Berdasarkan dari segi usia, acne vulgaris paling banyak dijumpai pada pasien dengan rentang usia 11-30 tahun. Acne vulgaris mempunyai efek yang dapat merusak kepercayaan diri seseorang karena menyerang daerah yang mudah terlihat serta penting bagi penampilan seseorang. Tujuan: Mengetahui derajat kepercayaan diri remaja akhir dengan pre and post pemberian terapi acne vulgaris Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Klinik Atlantis dan Klinik Kecantikan Ariana Audy Beauty Centre pada bulan Juni Tahun 2022 – Februari Tahun 2023. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang mengalami acne yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Data yang diambil melalui kuesioner merupakan data primer dan di analisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Karakteristik responden mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan (97.5%), berusia 21 tahun (32.5%) dan merupakan mahasiswa (65.0%). Derajat keparahan acne pada kelompok pre terapi dan post terapi paling banyak memiliki derajat keparahan sedang (42.5%). Derajat kepercayaan diri pada kelompok pre terapi paling banyak memiliki kepercayaan diri rendah (50.0%). Derajat kepercayaan diri pada kelompok post terapi paling banyak memiliki kepercayaan diri tinggi (65,0%). Kesimpulan: Derajat kepercayaan diri remaja akhir pre pemberian terapi acne vulgaris lebih rendah dibandingkan derajat kepercayaan diri remaja akhir post pemberian terapi acne vulgaris (p value 0.001). Formation of acne vulgaris in adolescents, the main cause of which is age. In terms of age, acne vulgaris is most often found in patients aged 11-30 years. Acne vulgaris has an effect that can damage a person's selfconfidence because it attacks areas that are easily visible and important for one's appearance. Objective: To determine the degree of self-confidence of late adolescents with pre and post acne vulgaris therapy Methods: This research is an analytical research using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the Atlantis Clinic and Ariana Audy Beauty Center Beauty Clinic in June 2022 – February 2023. The sample in this study were patients with acne who met the inclusion criteria with a total sample of 40 people. The data taken through a questionnaire was primary data and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Mann-Whitney. Results: The characteristics of the majority of respondents are female (97.5%), aged 21 years (32.5%) and are students (65.0%). The severity of acne in the pretherapy and post-therapy groups mostly had a moderate degree of severity (42.5%). Most of the degree of confidence in the pre-therapy group had low selfconfidence (50.0%). Most of the degree of self-confidence in the post-therapy group had high self-confidence (65.0%). Conclusion: The degree of self-confidence of late adolescents before administration of acne vulgaris therapy is lower than the degree of confidence of late adolescents after administration of acne vulgaris therapy (p value 0.001).
