dc.description.abstract | ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Proses belajar membutuhkan banyak pengambilan oksigen oleh hemoglobin. Hemoglobin rendah mempengaruhi fleksibilitas saraf sedemikian rupa sehingga fungsi neurotransmiter terganggu. ABSTRACT Background: The learning process requires a lot of oxygen uptake by hemoglobin. Low hemoglobin affects the flexibility of the nerves in such a way that the function of the neurotransmitters is impaired. As a result, susceptibility to these receptors leads to decreased concentration, memory and learning abilities, which affect student performance. Purpose: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between hemoglobin levels and student achievement at SMP Negeri 39 Medan. Methods: The type of research used in this study was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design that studied the correlation of risk factors (exposure) with effects (disease), namely the factor of hemoglobin levels on student achievement which was measured at the same time. Results: The majority of respondents, namely class 9 students in 2022 at SMP Negeri 39 Medan, had poor academic achievement, namely 37 people (50.7%).The majority of respondents, namely class 9 students in 2022 at SMP Negeri 39 Medan, have low hemoglobin levels, namely 42 people (57.5%). Based on statistical analysis using the Chi-square test showed that there was no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels on academic achievement with p = 0.199 (p> 0.05). Conclusion: There is no relationship between hemoglobin levels and learning achievement at SMP Negeri 39 Medan Keywords: Student Achievement, Hemoglobin Level, Study Ability. | en_US |
