HUBUNGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI DENGAN PENINGKATAN KADAR ASAM URAT DI PUSKEMAS MEDAN AMPLAS

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Hipertensi masih menjadi ancaman kesehatan masyarakat karena dapat mengakibatkan komplikasi seperti penyakit jantung coroner, gagal ginjal maupun stroke. Hipertensi ditandai dengan meningkatnya tekanan sistolik ≥140 mmhg dan tekanan diastolik ≥90 mmhg. Hipertensi sering terjadi pada usia dewasa dan lansia. Saat ini hipertensi masih tetap menjadi masalah karena prevalensi hipertensi terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Salah satu faktor resiko hipertensi itu sendiri adalah peningkatan asam urat. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan kejadian hipertensi dengan peningkatan kadar asam urat di Puskesmas Medan Amplas. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 52 responden yang mana merupakan populasi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi di Puskesmas Medan Amplas periode Maret 2023 dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil: Pada Penelitian ini digunakan uji statistika somers’d dengan variabel independen yang dihubungkan dengan variabel dependen. Dengan hasil nilai p value= 0,025 (<0,05) yang menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatan kadar asam urat dengan kejadian hipertensi memiliki nilai value 0,260 dimana kekuatan dari hubungan ini adalah lemah (p=0,2-0,4) dan arah korelasi adalah positif (+) yaitu terdapat hubungan yang searah di puskesmas Medan Amplas. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara kejadian hipertensi dengan peningkatan kadar asam urat di puskesmas Medan Amplas. Hypertension is characterized by increased systolic pressure ≥140 mmhg and diastolic pressure ≥90 mmhg. Hypertension often occurs in adulthood and the elderly. Currently, hypertension still remains a problem because the prevalence of hypertension continues to increase every year. One of the risk factors for hypertension itself is increased uric acid. Objective: Knowing the relationship between the incidence of hypertension and an increase in uric acid levels at the Medan Amplas health center. Method: This study uses observational analytic research with a cross sectional design. The sample of this study amounted to 52 respondents which was a population that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria at the Medan Amplas health center in the March 2023 period with purposive sampling technique. Result: In this study, somers'd statistical test was used with the independent variable associated with the dependent variable. With the results of the p value = 0.025 (<0.05) which shows that there is a significant relationship between increased uric acid levels and the incidence of hypertension has a value of 0.260 where the strength of this relationship is weak (p = 0.2-0.4) and the direction of correlation is positive (+), namely there is a unidirectional relationship at the Medan Amplas health center. Conclusion: There is an relationship between the incidence of hypertension and an increase in uric acid levels at the Medan Amplas health center.
