dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT Machine foundations in addition to receiving static loads also receive dynamic loads derived from engine vibrations. The machine foundation structure must be able to withstand both loads without failing. In planning the foundation of the machine requires data from the machine, including the frequency generated by the machine. From the frequency generated and the amplitude that occurs from the machine, it can be seen the feasibility and safety measures of a machine foundation. Because the frequency and amplitude that occur, often cause uncomfortable effects, ranging from the discomfort felt by humans who are near the machine to structural damage and damage to the machine itself. This study aims to analyze the loading on the machine foundation by analyzing the foundation of a block type machine with a machine that has a high frequency. The analysis method used is lumped parameter system. The foundation dimensions are 6 x 4 x 1 m with a depth of 1 m, with engine frequencies of 1800 and 3000 rpm. The results of this analysis show that the higher the machine foundation, the smaller the vertical amplitude, horizontal amplitude, and rocking amplitude. And the value of the natural frequencies of the machine foundation vertical and horizontal amplitudes are getting smaller, while the rocking amplitude is getting bigger. So the amplitude clearance value of the frequency of 1800 rpm and 3000 rpm meets the safety requirements of the machine foundation, namely the maximum vertical amplitude requirement is troublesome to persons. with high frequency machines vertical vibration is 0.002-0.003 and horizontal vibration is 0.004-0.005. Keywords : machine foundatons, amplotude, damping, static load, dynamic load.iii ABSTRAK Pondasi mesin selain menerima beban statis juga menerima beban dinamis yang berasal dari getaran mesin. Struktur pondasi mesin harus mampu menahan kedua beban tersebut tanpa mengalami kegagalan. Dalam merencanakan pondasi mesin membutuhkan data dari mesin tersebut, diantaranya meliputi frekuensi yang dihasilkan oleh mesin. Dari frekuensi yang dihasilkan dan amplitudo yang terjadi dari mesin, dapat diketahui ukuran kelayakan dan keamanan dari suatu pondasi mesin. Sebab frekuensi dan amplitudo yang terjadi, seringkali menimbulkan efek tidak nyaman yaitu mulai dari ketidaknyamanan yang dirasakan oleh manusia yang berada di dekat mesin sampai kerusakan struktur dan kerusakan pada mesin itu sendiri. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pembebanan terhadap pondasi mesin dengan menganalisa pondasi mesin jenis blok dengan mesin yang memiliki frekuensi yang tinggi. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah lumped parameter system. Dimensi pondasi 6 x 4 x 1 m dengan kedalaman 1 m, dengan frequensi mesin 1800 dan 3000 rpm. Hasil dari analisa ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi pondasi mesin mengakibatkan amplitudo vertikal, amplitudo horizontal, dan amplitudo rocking semakin kecil. Dan nilai frequensi natural pondasi mesin amplitudo vertikal dan horizontal semakin kecil, sedangkan amplitudo rocking semakin besar. Maka nilai izin amplitudo dari frequensi 1800 rpm dan 3000 rpm memenuhi syarat keamanan dari pondasi mesin yaitu persyaratan maksimal amplitudo vertikal adalah troublesome to persons dengan mesin berfrekuensi tinggi getaran vertikal 0,002-0,003 dan getaran horizontal 0,004-0,005.
