PERENCANAAN PERPARKIRAN DI KAMPUS UISU JALAN SISINGAMARAJA NO. 191 TELADAN BARAT -20217 MEDAN, SUMATERA UTARA (STUDI KASUS)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU) merupakan salah satu kampus tertua di kota Medan yang terus berkembang dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang setiap tahun bertambah sehingga membawa pertambahan kepemilikan kendaraan yang dapat meningkatkan permintaan ketersediaan parkir. Untuk menata ulang parkiran yang ada di kampus sesuai dengan ketersediaan lahan yang ada saat ini.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menata ulang tempat parkir yang layak dan teratur, yang dimana bentuk sebelumnya lokasi parkir roda 2 dan roda 4 ini tidak beraturan serta dengan adanya perbaikan berharap posisi letak kendaraan lebih rapih, tidak seperti desain sebelumnya yang dimana tata letak ruang parkir sudut nya tak beraturan. menetapkan tempat parkir khusus roda dua dan roda empat sesuai dengan Satuan Ruang Parkir ( SRP ), metode dari pedoman teknis penyelenggaraan fasilitas parkir direktur jendral perhubungan darat nomor.272/HK.105/DRJD/96 dengan menggunakan perhitungan indeks parkir dan kapasitas ruang parkir. Hasil dari analisa untuk kampus induk dapat menampung roda 2 sebanyak 222 kendaraan serta roda 4 sebanyak 86 kendaraan, untuk hasil perhitungan pada kampus pertanian untuk roda 2 sebanyak 541 kendaraan dan untuk roda 4 sebanyak 44 kendaraan dengan bentuk parkir 900 dan untuk roda 2 dalam bentuk sejajar. Yang paling banyak menampung kendaraan roda 4 dengan sudut 900 maka oleh sebab itu penataan ulang bentuk parkir yang dapat menampung roda 4 dengan bentuk 900.
