PENGUKURAN BEBAN KERJA DAN OPTIMALISASI JUMLAH KARYAWAN DENGAN METODE WORK LOAD ANALYSIS (WLA) DAN WORK FORCE ANALYSIS (WFA) PADA STASIUN STERILIZER SHIFT PAGI DI PTPN IV UNIT KEBUN MAYANG

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui beban kerja dan tingkat kelelahan operator bagian perebusan atau sterilizer dan untuk mengetahui jumlah tenaga kerja yang optimal pada proses perebusan pada sterilizer.Yang dilakukan peneliti adalah perhitungan beban kerja menggunakan metode work load analysis dan optimasi jumlah karyawan menggunakan metode work force anlysis yang dilakukan PTPN IV Kebun Mayang, Kecamatan Bosar Maligas Kabupaten Simalungun Provinsi Sumatera Utara Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, wawancara, dan analisis menggunakan metode work load analysis dan work force analysisi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja yang terrdapat pada operator di stasiun sterilizer diatas 100%, dan harus menambah jumlah karyawan untuk mengurangi beban kerja pada operator yang dapat menyababkan kelelahan pada operator yang bisa menyebabkan pekerjaan kurang efektif dan efisien. Dimana pada stasiun sterilizer terdapat 3 operator yang memiliki tanggung jawab yang berbeda, dan hasil dari perhitungan didapat penambahan sebesar 1 orang setiap operator dengan total penambahan operator pada stasiun sterilizer berjumlah 6 orang. Kata Kunci : Beban Kerja, Work Load Analysis, Work Force Analysis, Sterilizer ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the workload and fatigue level of the operator in the boiling or sterilizer section and to find out the optimal number of workers in the boiling process at the sterilizer. What the researchers did was calculate the workload using the work load analysis method and optimize the number of employees using the work method. force analysis conducted by PTPN IV Kebun Mayang, Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. Data were collected using documentation, interviews, and analysis using work load analysis and work force analysisi methods. The results of this study indicate that the workload on operators at the sterilizer station is above 100%, and the number of employees must be increased to reduce the workload on operators which can cause operator fatigue which can lead to less effective and efficient work. Where at the sterilizer station there are 3 operators who have different responsibilities, and the results of the calculations get an addition of 1 person for each operator with a total addition of 6 operators at the sterilizer station.
