POTENSI KERUGIAN EKONOMI AKIBAT KEHILANGAN MINYAK SAWIT PADA LIMBAH CAIR DARI UNIT SLUDGE SEPARATOR DI PTPN IV KEBUN ADOLINA, PERBAUNGAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kehilangan minyak pada limbah cair di sludge separator tidak dapat dihindari, jika kehilangan minyak melebihi norma yang telah ditetapkan akan memberikan potensi kerugian. Limbah kelapa sawit adalah sisa-sisa hasil tanaman kelapa sawit yang tidak termasuk dalam produk utama atau merupakan hasil sampingan dari proses pengolahan kelapa sawit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi kerugian akibat kehilangan minyak pada limbah cair unit sludge separator.Penelitian ini dilakukan di PTPN IV Kebun Adolina, Perbaungan, Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah losses yang terdapat pada limbah cair selama bulan September - November 2022 ada beberapa yang melebihi standart pabrik yaitu maksimal 0,60%, hal ini disebabkan karena jam operasional sludge separator sudah tinggi sehingga losses yang dihasilkan tinggi. Palm oil waste is the remains of oil palm crops that are not included in the main product or are a by-product of the palm oil processing process. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential losses due to oil loss in the liquid waste of the sludge separator unit. This research was conducted at PTPN IV Kebun Adolina, Perbaungan, North Sumatra.The results of this study are losses contained in liquid waste during September - November 2022 there are some that exceed the factory standard, which is a maximum of 0.60%, this is due to the high operating hours of the sludge separator so that the losses produced are high.
