Abstract: | ABSTRAK Tia Widari, NPM: 71190312012, Judul : Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Pengembangan Karir Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai di Dinas Perkebunan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Dibimbing Oleh: Dr. H. Nur M. Ridha Trg., S.E., M.M Sebagai Pembimbing I, dan Ilham Sonata., S.E., M.M Sebagai Pembimbing II, Skripsi: 2023 Kepuasan kerja tidak dapat dipisahkan oleh motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja serta untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Dinas Perkebunan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Dinas Perkebunan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang berjumlah 117 orang pegawai. Berdasarkan perhitungan Slovin, jumlah sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 54 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan uji hipotesis didapatkan hasil penelitian yaitu motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai serta motivasi kerja dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Dinas Perkebunan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Nur M. Ridha Trg., S.E., M.M as Supervisor I, and Ilham Sonata, S.E., M.M as Supervisor II, Thesis: 2023 Job satisfaction cannot be separated by work motivation and career development. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, to determine and analyze the effect of career development on job satisfaction and to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and career development on employee job satisfaction at the Plantation Office of the Government of North Sumatra Province. The population used in this study were all employees at the Plantation Office of the Government of North Sumatra Province, totaling 117 employees. Based on Slovin's calculation, the number of samples to be used in this study was 54 people. Based on the results of the analysis and hypothesis testing, the research results obtained are work motivation has a positive and insignificant effect on employee job satisfaction, career development has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction and work motivation and career development have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Plantation Office of the Government of North Sumatra Province.
