Dimbimbing Oleh : Dr.Zulkifli Siregar, SE, M.Si sebagai Pembimbing I dan Azhar Apriandi, SE, M.M sebagai Pembimbing II, Skripsi 2023 Dalam penelitian ini ketimpangan pendapatan antar wilayah Kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan di setiap tahunnya. Ketimpangan ekonomi di Indonesia telah meningkat selama tahun 2020. Dampak dari adanya krisis kesehatan akibat covid telah merambah pada munculnya potensi krisis ekonomi. Indikator ekonomi berupa ketimpangan ekonomi di Indonesia telah meningkat.Hal tersebut terlihat dari ukuran ketimpangan berupa indeks gini yang mengalami peningkatan. Indeks gini telah meningkat Pada September 2020, tingkat ketimpangan pengeluaran penduduk Indonesia yang diukur oleh Gini Ratio adalah sebesar 0,385. Angka ini meningkat 0,004 poin jika dibandingkan dengan Gini Ratio Maret 2020 yang sebesar 0,381 dan meningkat 0,005 poin dibandingkan dengan Gini Ratio September 2019 yang sebesar 0,380.Berdasarkan ukuran ketimpangan Bank Dunia, distribusi pengeluaran pada kelompok 40% terbawah adalah sebesar 17,93%. Hal ini berarti pengeluaran penduduk pada September 2020 berada pada kategori tingkat ketimpangan rendah. Jika dirinci menurut wilayah, di perkotaan angkanya tercatat sebesar 17,08% yang berarti tergolong pada kategori ketimpangan rendah. Sementara untuk perdesaan, angkanya tercatat sebesar 20,89% yang berarti tergolong dalam kategori ketimpangan rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan antar wilayah Kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara, untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat ketimpangan pembangunan antar wilayah Kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara, untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat ketimpangan pertumbuhan ekonomi antar wilayah di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.Populasi penelitian ini adalah laporan Ketimpangan Pendapatan Antar Wilayah Kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada Tahun 2017 – 2021. Sampel yang di pakai yaitu diambil dari seluruh Kabupaten di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan di kali 5 tahun sehingga di peroleh 125 sampel penelitian. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah gini ratio. Berdasarkan perhitungan gini ratio serta data pembangunan wilayah Kabupaten di seluruh Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Maka, tidak terdapat ketimpangan distribusi pembangunan antar wilayah Kabupaten. Supervised By : Dr.Zulkifli Siregar, SE, M.Si as Advisor I and Azhar Apriandi, SE, M.M as Advisor II, Thesis 2023 In this study, income inequality between regencies in North Sumatra Province has increased and decreased every year. Economic inequality in Indonesia has increased during 2020. The impact of the health crisis due to covid has penetrated into the emergence of a potential economic crisis. Economic indicators in the form of economic inequality in Indonesia have increased. This can be seen from the measure of inequality in the form of the Gini index which has increased. This figure increased by 0.004 points when compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2020 which was 0.381 and increased by 0.005 points compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2019 which was 0.380. Based on the World Bank's measure of inequality, the distribution of expenditure in the bottom 40% group is 17.93%. This means that population spending in September 2020 is in the category of low inequality. If broken down by region, in urban areas the figure was recorded at 17.08%, which means it belongs to the low inequality category. Meanwhile for rural areas, the figure was recorded at 20.89%, which means it belongs to the low inequality category. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an imbalance in the distribution of income between districts in North Sumatra Province, to find out whether there is an imbalance in development between districts in North Sumatra Province, to find out whether there is an imbalance in economic growth between regions in North Sumatra Province. The population of this study is report on Income Inequality between Regencies in North Sumatra Province in 2017 – 2021. The samples used were taken from all Regencies in North Sumatra Province and multiplied by 5 years so that 125 research samples were obtained. The analysis tool used was the gini ratio. Based on the calculation of the Gini ratio and data on the development of districts throughout North Sumatra Province.
