Abstract: | ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN SPESIES SUB ORDO ZYGOPTERA DI TAMAN CADIKA MEDAN UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BERUPA BUKU MONOGRAF Khairuna Fazriah Khairuna.fazriah@gmail.com Capung Jarum adalah serangga yang termasuk ke dalam ordo Odonata, sub ordo Zygoptera. Kata Kunci: keanekaragaman, zygoptera, buku monografiv ABSTRACT SPECIES DIVERSITY OF ZYGOPTERA SUB-ORDO AT CADIKA PARK MEDAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING MATERIALS AS MONOGRAPH BOOK Khairuna Fazriah Khairuna.fazriah@gmail.com Dragonflies are insects that belong to the order Odonata, sub-order Zygoptera. Dragonflies have an important role for humans, namely as bioindicator to the monitor quality of water around the environment. the presence of dragonflies can indicate that the lake around Cadika Park is still clean or polluted. The location of this research divided into 2 were A location (shrubs area) and B location (secondary forest) is around Cadika Park . Based on the results of research conducted around Cadika Park, 60 individuals were species consisting, namely Ischnura Heterosticta , Ischnura Senegalensis, Agriocnemis femina, Ischnura hastata, Rhinocypha fenestrata, Copera Marginipes. The families namely Coenagrionidae, Chlorocyphidae, and Platycnemididae. The results of the calculation of the shanon-wienner diversity index in the Cadika Park area were a low level of diversity index the output of this research was Monograph Book of Zygoptera Sub-Ordo.
