ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN VEGETASI MANGROVE DI DUSUN XV DAN XVI DESA PERCUT KECAMATAN PERCUT SEI TUAN UNTUK PEMBUATAN BUKU MONOGRAF EKOLOGI Artika Sahputri Email : sahputritika@gmail.com Hutan Mangrove adalah hutan yang dapat tumbuh di daerah pesisir pantai atau hutan yang dekat dengan muara sungai, Hutan ini merupakan hutan yang dipengaruhi oleh keberadaan pasang surut air laut. Hutan mangrove biasa disebut sebagai hutan bakau. seperti hal nya di desa Percut yang berada di kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara, adalah salah satu desa yang letaknya berada di wilayah pesisir pantai Sumatera. kawasan hutan Mangrove Desa Percut Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan ini berpotensi mengalami kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh faktor kondisi lingkungan dan juga di akibatkan oleh aktivitas masyarakat dengan perubahan fungsi lahan mangrove menjadi tambak, perkebunan sawit dan tempat wisata. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi tingkat keanekaragaman jenis vegetasi mangrove. Oleh karena itu Analisis Biologi diperlukan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang tingkat keanekaragaman vegetasi mangrove. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fisik lingkungan hutan mangrove yang meliputi pH, substrat dan suhu, untuk mengetahui keanekaragam Vegetasi Mangrove berdasarkan Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’), Indeks Dominasi (C), yang ada di kawasan hutan mangrove dusun XV dan XVI desa Percut dan untuk pembuatan buku Monograf Ekologi. Dengan menggunakan metode Deskriftif eksploratif yang dibagi menjadi 3 stasiun pengamatan. Hasil penelitian di peroleh indeks keanekaragaman (H’) pada dusun XV termasuk kategori rendah ,dan indeks keanekaragaman (H’) di dusun XVI kategori rendah indeks dominasi (C) pada dusun XV termasuk kategori rendah , indek dominasi ( C ) pada dusun XVI termasuk kategori rendah. Mangrove forests are commonly referred to as mangroves. as it is in the village of Percut located in the District of Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang North Sumatra province, is one of the villages located in the coastal region of Sumatra. the Mangrove forest area of Percut Village, Percut Sei Tuan District has the potential to experience damage caused by environmental conditions and also caused by community activities with changes in the function of mangrove land into ponds, oil palm plantations and tourist attractions. This can affect the level of diversity of mangrove vegetation types. Therefore, biological analysis is needed to provide a picture of the level of diversity of mangrove vegetation. This study aims to determine the physical condition of the environment and to determine the diversity of mangrove vegetation based on Diversity Index (H), dominance index (C), which exist in the mangrove forest area of Hamlet XV and XVI of Percut village and for the manufacture of Ecological Monographs. By using descriptive exploratory method which is divided into 3 research stations. The results obtained diversity index (H) including the medium category, dominance index (C), including the low category, based on these results the condition of the Mangrove forest area Hamlet XV and XVI Percut Village Percut Sei Tuan District is not good for the life of Mangrove forest vegetation which means the condition is polluted.
