Kata kunci : Identifikasi, jamur Candida albicans, air bak toilet.vi ABSTRACT Background: Fungi are saprophytic microorganisms in humans that can cause infection. Several species of fungi such as Candida albicans are one of the pathogenic species that can epidemiologically cause candidiasis. Candida albicans is also the leading cause of Candida bloodstream infection. The water in the toilet tub can be overgrown with Candida albicans because humid toilet conditions are one of the factors where Candida albicans grows. Water contaminated with Candida albicans can be a source of fungal disease transmission when used to clean vital limbs. Objective: Identifying Candida albicans Fungus in Toilet Water at SMA Dharma Bakti Lubuk Pakam. Descriptive: Descriptive with the method of selecting the total sampling sample according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results of the microscopic test of Candida albicans on toilet tub water found 3 positive toilet tub water and 7 negative toilet tub water. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that 30% of the samples of toilet tub water tested by microbiology were found to be positive for Candida albicans.
