HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU TENTANG COVID 19 PADA KARYAWAN FK UISU

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Berdasarkan bukti ilmiah, COVID-19 dapat menular dari manusia ke manusia melalui percikan batuk / bersin (droplet), tidak melalui udara. Orang yang paling berisiko tertular penyakit ini adalah orang yang kontak erat dengan pasien COVID-19 termasuk yang merawat pasien COVID-19. Rekomendasi standar untuk mencegah penyebaran infeksi adalah melalui cuci tangan secara teratur menggunakan sabun dan air bersih, menerapkan etika batuk dan bersin, menghindari kontak secara secara langsung dengan ternak dan hewan liar serta menghindari kontak dekat dengan siapapun yang menunjukkan gejala penyakit pernapasan seperti batuk dan bersin. Selain itu, menerapkan Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi (PPI) saat berada di fasilitas kesehatan terutama unit gawat darurat. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang covid 19 pada karyawan FK UISU. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional yang mempelajari korelasi faktor resiko (exposure) dengan efek (disease), yaitu faktor pengetahuan dengan sikap dan perilaku pencegahan infeksi COVID-19 yang diukur dalam waktu yang bersaman. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara Fakultas Kedokteran pada Jalan STM, Suka Maju, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Sumatra Utara. Jumlah populasi yang menjadi objek penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah 85 orang. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil : Berdasarkan analisis statistik menggunakan uji Chi-square menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 pada karyawan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara dengan nilai p = 0,0001 (<0,05). Peoplewho are most at risk of contracting this disease are people who are in close contact with COVID-19 patients, including those who care for COVID-19 patients. Standard recommendations to prevent the spread of infection are through regular hand washing with soap and clean water, applying cough and sneezing etiquette, avoiding direct contact with livestock and lying animals and avoiding contact withanyone showing symptoms of illness such as coughing and sneezing. In addition, implementing Infection Prevention and Control (PPI) while in health facilities, especially emergency emergency units. Objective: To find out the relationship between knowledge and behavior about covid 19 in UISU FK employees. Methods: Research The type used in this study is an analytical survey with a crosssectional design that studies the correlation of risk factors (exposure) with effects (disease), namely the knowledge factor with attitudes and behaviors to prevent COVID-19 infection measured at the same time. This research was conducted at the Islamic University of North Sumatra, Faculty of Medicine on Jalan STM, Suka Maju, Medan Johor District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The population in this study were all employees of the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic University of North Sumatra. The total population that is the object of research in this thesis is 85 people. Statistical analysis using Chi-Square test. Results: Based on statistical analysis of the use of the Chi-square test, it shows that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and COVID-19 prevention behavior in employees of the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic University of North Sumatra with p value = 0.0001 (<0.05).
