EPIDEMIOLOGI DESKRIPTIF CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) DI KOTA MEDAN PADA TAHUN 2020

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) merupakan coronavirus jenis baru yang belum pernah di identifikasi sebelumnya pada manusia, terdapat dua jenis coronavirus yang diketahui menyebabkan penyakit yang dapat menimbulkan gejala berat, seperti Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) dan Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui Epidemiologi Deskriptif Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Di Kota Medan Pada Tahun 2020 Metode : Penelitian ini bersifat deskripif, desain cross sectional dengan cara total sampling dengan pengolahan data menggunakan uji analisa data univariat. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat penyebaran Covid-19 di kota medan mengalami peningkatan juga penurunan kasus, angka kejadian penyakit (cumulative incidence) mengalami peningkatan serta penurunan serta angka kematian (case fatality rate) mengalami penurunan hingga juni 2021. Kesimpulan : Penyebaran Covid-19 mengalami peningkatan juga penurunan kasus positif, kasus sembuh dan kasus meninggal, angka kejadian penyakit (cumulative incidence) mengalami peningkatan serta penurunan serta angka kematian (case fatality rate) mengalami penurunan. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a new type of coronavirus that has never been identified previously on human, there are two types of coronaviruses that are known causing the disease which can cause severe symptoms, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Purpose: To find out the Deskriptive Epidemiology of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Medan City in 2020. Methods: This research is descriptive in nature, cross-sectional design by means of total sampling with Data processing using univariate data analysis test. Results: Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that the spread of Covid-19 in medan has increased as well as decreased positive cases, the incidence rate of disease (cumulative incidence) has increased and decreased and the death rate (case fatality rate) has decreased until june 2021. Conclusion: The spread of Covid-19 has increased as well as decreased positive cases, recovered case and cases of death, the incidence rate of disease (cumulative incidence) has increased and decreased and the death rate (case fatality rate) has decreased.
