dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT Adinda Nazira, NPM: 71170312186, The Effect Of Motivation And Compensation On Teacher Job Satisfaction At YP Budi Agung High School Medan. Dr.. Supriadi, S.E., M.M., M.Si. as Supervisor I and Julkarnain, S.Ag, S.E, M.M. as Supervisor II. The formulations in this study are: a) How motivation affects teacher job satisfaction at YP Budi Agung High School Medan; b) How compensation affects teacher job satisfaction at YP Budi Agung High School Medan; c) How does motivation and compensation affect teacher job satisfaction at SMA YP Budi Agung Medan. While the objectives of this study are: a) To find out and analyze the effect of motivation on teacher job satisfaction at SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; b) To find out and analyze the effect of compensation on teacher job satisfaction at YP Budi Agung High School Medan; c) To find out and analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on teacher job satisfaction at SMA YP Budi Agung Medan. This type of research used quantitative descriptive through the distribution of questionnaires with a sample of 43 teachers. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, lists of questions and documentation studies. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, F tests, t tests, and coefficients of determination. The results of the study proved: a) Partially motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction at SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; b) Partially compensation has a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction at SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; c) Simultaneously motivation and compensation significant effect on teacher job satisfaction at YP Budi Agung High School Medan. Dr. Supriadi, S.E., M.M., M.Si. sebagai Pembimbing I dan Julkarnain, S.Ag, S.E, M.M. sebagai Pembimbing II. Rumusan pada penelitian ini adalah: a) Bagaimana pengaruh motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; b) Bagaimana pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; c) Bagaimana pengaruh motivasi dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah: a) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; b) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; c) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui penyebaran angket dengan sampel sebanyak 43 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, daftar pertanyaan dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, uji F, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan: a) Secara parsial motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; b) Secara parsial kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan; c) Secara simultan motivasi dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMA YP Budi Agung Medan.
