Abstract

ABSTRAK EKSPLORASI DAN KARAKTERISASI FAMILY MORACEAE DI KAWASAN TAHURA KECAMATAN MERDEKA KABUPATEN KARO DAM PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI Dzihni Anisah Nasution Email : dzihnianisah107@gmail.com Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Tahura Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data karakteristik morfologi dari famili Moraceae di Tahura Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitin ini adalah metode deksriptif eksploratif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 15 spesies dari famili Moraceae, yaitu: Artocarpus elasticus, Artocarpus dadah, Ficus benjamina, Ficus padana, Ficus geniculata, Ficus fistulosa, Ficus scortechinii, Ficus ribes, Ficus lepicarpa, Ficus montana, Ficus subgelderi, Ficus variegata, Ficus eumorpha, Ficus deltoidea, Ficus punctata. Dengan karakteristik pada spesies family Moraceae yang ditemukan: menghasilkan getah pada batang dan tangkai daun, tepi daun yang rata,berombak dan bergerigi dan batang yang berwarrna coklat keabuan. Populasi yang ditemukan di Tahura mempunyai daun yang melebar, kecil, permukaan daun berbulu halus dan licin, mempunyai daun bangun jantung dengan ujung meruncing dan pada tepi daun; bergerigi, berombak dan rata; hidup pada semak-semak. Termasuk liana,semak, perdu dan pohon. Setiap spesies dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pangan, papan, obat dan buahnya sebagai pewarna. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini berupa Modul Pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Taksonomi Tumbuhan Tinggi. This study aims to obtain data on the morphological characteristics of the Moraceae family in Tahura, Merdeka District, Karo Regency. The method used in this research is an exploratory descriptive method. With the characteristics of the Moraceae family species found: producing sap on the stems and petioles, flat leaf edges, wavy and serrated and graybrown stems. The population found in Tahura has broad, small leaves, the surface of the leaves is smooth and smooth, has heart-shaped leaves with tapered ends and on the leaf edges; jagged, wavy and flat; live in the bush. Including lianas, shrubs, shrubs and trees. Each species can be used as food, board, medicine and the fruit as a dye.
