ANALISA PENGARUH CACAT PRODUKSI TERHADAP EFISIENSI BLOW MOLDING PLANT PT PACIFIC MEDAN INDUSTRI

Abstract

INTISARI Cetak tiup (blow molding) merupakan salah satu proses manufaktur yaitu mengolah bahan mentah menjadi barang jadi. Blow molding merupakan salah satu bagian dari divisi produksi PT Pacific Medan Industri yang mengolah resin jenis HDPE (high density polyethylene) menjadi produk berupa jerigen, selanjutnya jerigen akan masuk ke bagian filling plant untuk dilakukan pengisian minyak untuk selanjutnya dilakukan proses packing untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dalam negeri walaupun luar negeri, prinsip kerja blow molding plant PT Pacific Medan Industri adalah diawali dengan masuknya material ke dalam hopper untuk dilakukan pemanasan di dalam screw extruder, lalu material akan turun untuk kemudian mold akan menjepit lelehan resin tersebut kemudian di tiup dengan bantuan blow pin untuk mengisi material ke seluruh sisi mold lalu dilanjutkan dengan proses post-cooling yang kemudian sisa material akan putus karena punching handle untuk kemudian produk selesai di produksi untuk di cek kualitas jerigen yang dihasilkan Kata kunci : Blow Molding, HDPE, Screw Extruder, Mold, Jerigen ABSTRACT Blow molding is one of the manufacturing processes, namely processing raw materials into finished goods.
