dc.description.abstract | ABSTRAK Keausan mata bor merupakan hal yang harus di perhatikan dalam perencanaan proses produksi. Keausan terjadi akibat adanya gesekan antara pahat dan benda kerja maupun antara pahat dengan geram. Pengeboran basah atau pengeboran kering merupakan proses permesinan yang sering di gunakan sampai saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh menggunakan media pendingin dan tidak menggunakan media pendingin terhadap keausan mata bor Co NICHI menggunakan mesin driling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, variasi putaran yang di gunakan adalah n = 310 r/mm, n = 375 r/mm, n = 440 r/mm. Putaran sepindel yang berbeda dan kedalaman pengeboran merupakan variabel tetap. Melihan keausan pahat mata bor menggunakkan mikroskop. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini akan menunjukan dengan menggunakan media pendingin dan tidak menggunakan media pendingin mana yang akan lebih besar nilai keausan mata pahatnya. Kata Kunci : Kecepatan potong, Media pendingin, Keausan pahat, Baja Aisi 1045 ABSTRACT Drill bit wear is something that must be considered in planning the production process. Wear occurs due to friction between the chisel and the workpiece as well as between the chisel and rage. Wet drilling or dry drilling is a machining process that is often used today. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using cooling media and notusing cooling media on the wear of the Co NICHI drill bit using a drilling machine. This study uses an experimental method, the rotation variation used is n = 310 r/mm, n = 375 r/mm, n = 440 r/mm. Different spindle rotation and drilling depth is a fixed variable. See drill bit chisel wear using a microscop. The results of data analysis in this study will show that using cooling media and not using cooling media which will have a greater wear value for the tool blade.
