Abstract

ABSTRACT AMIE ZAHARA, NPM : 71180712055. PRODUCTION FACTOR ANALYSIS ON INCOME OF TOUCH TEMPE TRADERS IN SIMPANG LIMUN MARKET, MEDAN KOTA DISTRICT. Under the guidance of Mr. M. Ilham Riyadh, S.P., M.Sc. as chairman of the supervisory commission and Mrs. Hj. Henny Pratiwi, S.P., M.M. as a member of the advisory committee. This study aims to determine whether the factors of production consisting of capital, labor wages, and rental places affect the income of tofu and tempeh traders in the Simpang Limun market, Medan City district. The choice of research location was done purposively. The sample used in this study were 30 tofu and tempeh traders in the Simpang Limun market. Field research interviews and filling out questionnaires were conducted in May 2022. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS 25. The results of the study conclude that the capital variable (X1) has a positive effect on income (Y) meaning that if the capital increases by Rp. 1, the capital increases by Rp. 0.137 or other factors are considered constant. Based on the regression results, the labor wage variable (X2) has a negative effect on income (Y), meaning that if the labor wage increases by Rp. 1, then the labor wage decreases by Rp. 1.042, and based on the regression results of the rental variable (X3), it has a positive effect on income (Y), meaning that if the rent increases by Rp. 1, then the rent increases by Rp. 14,527. Penelitian ini bertujuan umtuk mengetahui apakah faktor produksi yang terdiri dari modal, upah tenaga kerja, dan sewa tempat mempengaruhi pendapatan pedagang tahu dan tempe di pasar Simpang Limun Kecamatan Medan Kota. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 30 pedagang tahu dan tempe di pasar Simpang Limun. penelitian lapangan wawancara dan pegisian kuesioner dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa variabel modal (X1) berpengaruh positif terhadap pendapatan (Y) artinya apabila modal bertambah Rp.1 maka modal meningkat sebesar Rp. 0,137 atau faktor lain dianggap konstan, Berdasarkan hasil regresi variabel upah tenaga kerja (X2) berpengaruh negatif terhadap pendapatan (Y) artinya apabila upah tenaga kerja bertambah Rp.1 maka upah tenaga kerja menurun sebesar Rp. 1,042, dan berdasarkan hasil regresi variabel sewa tempat (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap pendapatan (Y) artinya apabila sewa tempat bertambah Rp.1 maka sewa tempat meningkat sebesar Rp. 14,527.
