PARTISIPASI PETANI DALAM PENERAPAN USAHATANI PADI SISTEM JAJAR LEGOWO KELURAHAN SIMANGAMBAT KECAMATAN SIABU KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted on March 20, 2020 it was aimed to find out the development of the implementation of the jajar legowowsystem of rice farming, for the last three years iseen from the number of members, giving ideas, donation of money,the number of meetings, group activities carried out, to find out whether there is success in the implementation of the jajar legowo system rice farming group in Simangambat Ward, Siabu Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research used purposive method. The samples were 30 respondents, taken by using Slovin formula with random sampling technique. The analytical method used is descriptive data analysis method. The results of the research obtained that the implementation of rice farming with the jajar legowo system has developed every year for the last three years seen from number of rice sales, the price of rice for group activities and the number of meetings. Three is also a link between farming experience, age and frequency of participating in counseling with participation level of the implementation of the jajar legowo system of rice farming. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 20 Maret 2020 bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan penerapan usahatani padi sistem jajar legowo selama tiga tahun terakhir dilihat dari jumlah anggota, memberi ide, sumbangan uang, jumlah pertemuan, dan kegiatan kelompok yang dilakukan, untuk mengetahui apakah ada keberhasilan kelompok penerapan usahatani padi sistem jajar legowo di Kelurahan Simangambat, Kecamatan Siabu, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Metode penelitian dalam menentukan lokasi penelitian secara Purposive. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin, dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yakni penerapan usahatani padi sistem jajar legowo setiap tahunnya mengalami perkembangan selama tiga tahun terakhir dilihat dari jumlah penjualan beras, harga beras kegiatna kelompok dan jumlah pertemuan. Terdapat juga kaitan antara pengalaman bertani, umur dan frekuensi mengikuti penyuluhan dengan tingkat partisipasi penerapan usahatani padi sitem jajar legowo.
