Abstract: i RINGKASAN Penelitian dilakukan di kebun percobaan Jl. P.Naga, Denai Lama Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Percobaan ini dilakukan pada areal persawahan. Peneltian ini dibimbing oleh Bapak Ir. OK. Naga, Denai Lama, Labu Beach, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This experiment was carried out in rice fields. This research was guided by Mr. Ir. OK. Nazaruddin Hisham, MS as (Chairman) and Ms. Ir. Noverina Chaniago, M.P. as (Member). This study aims to determine the testing of several types of fertilizers and application time on the growth and productivity of the Sikumpay rice genotype. The design carried out was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) which consisted of two factors, namely the Type of Fertilizer (P) factor consisting of 3 levels, namely: P1 = goat manure, P2 = Liquid Organic Fertilizer, P3 = NPK fertilizer Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Application Time Factor (A) consists of 3 levels, namely: A1 : 1 MST, A2 : 3 MST, A3 : 5 MST. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of tillers, age of flowering, number of panicles (stalks), weight of grain per plot (kg). The results showed that fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of tillers, flowering age, panicle number and grain weight per plot, but had no significant effect on plant height. The best fertilizer is obtained from liquid organic fertilizer. The time of fertilizer application had a significant effect on plant height and grain weight per plot, but had no significant effect on the number of tillers, flowering age and number tillers. The interaction of fertilizer and application time had a significant effect on the number of tillers, flowering age and panicle number, but had no significant effect on plant height and grain weight per plot.
