Abstract: | ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN MAKROZOOBENTOS DI KAWASAN PERAIRAN HUTAN MANGROVE DESA TANJUNG REJO KECAMATAN PERCUT SEI TUAN UNTUK PEMBUATAN BUKU MONOGRAF EKOLOGI HEWAN Rani Miranda Sihombing Email : ranimiranda816@gmail.com Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui bagaimana indeks keanekaragaman (H’) biota makrozoobentos yang ada di Kawasan Perairan Hutan Mangrove Dusun XIV Desa Tanjung Rejo Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan makrozoobentos, untuk mengetahui kondisi lingkungan (Suhu, pH, Salinitas dan Substrat) dan untuk pembuatan buku monograf ekologi hewan. dengan menggunakan metode survey eksploratif dan teknik purposive sampling yang dibagi menjadi tiga stasiun penelitian. The results of research on the diversity of macrozoobenthos species obtained 17 species with 3 phyla, 3 classes, 8 orders, 16 families, and 16 genera. Measurement of physical and chemical factors of the waters obtained an average temperature of 28-31°C; pH average 7.2-7.6; average salinity 22-28o/oo; and the substrate is silt and silty sand. The type of macrozoobenthos that dominates the Mangrove Forest Waters in Hamlet XIV, Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan District is Gastropods. Macrozobenthos diversity index value (H') was 2.3905 at station I, 2.2567 at station II, and 2.1379 at station III, categorized as moderate. Based on these results, the Mangrove Forest Waters in Dusun XIV, Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, is still within the threshold of good quality standards for the life of macrozoobenthos biota, which means that the environmental conditions are still not too polluted.
