Abstract: ABSTRAK KEANEKARAGAMAN SPESIES FAMILI Acrididae DI TAMAN CADIKA UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN BERUPA AJAR MONOGRAF Indah Rahmalina Email : indahrahmalina@gmail.com Belalang memiliki peranan sebagai herbivora, predator dekomposer, dan hama sehingga berpotensi dijadikan sebagai indikator ekologi terhadap kualitas ekosistem terkait jaringan ekologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman belalang di kawasan Taman Cadika Medan, mengebangkan hasil penelitian menjadi bahan ajar berupa buku Monograf. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Deskriptif Eksploratif, Di mana sampel belalang dikoleksi dengan menggunakan metode jelajah dan penangkapan dilakukan secara langsung dengan menggunakan Insect Net dan Hand Sorting. Perngukuran faktor lingkungan dengan mengambil data temperatur suhu, kelembapan dan intensitas cahaya. Data dianalisis dan dihitung indeks keanekaragaman dan indeks kemerataan, kemudian dianalisi secara Deskriptif dan diidentifikasi sampai tingat spesies. Hasil penelitian keanekaragaman belalang (H’ = 0,94), jumlah individu (n = 234), dan indeks kemerataan spesies (e = 0,66). Spesies belalang yang ditemukan di kawasan Taman Cadika Medan berjumlah 4 spesies meliputi Valanga nigricornis, Xenocatantops humilis, Pseudoxya diminuta dan Oxya japanica. Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman, Acrididae, Taman Cadika Medan. iii ABSTRACT SPECIES DIVERSITY OF THE FAMILY Acrididae IN CADIKA PARK FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATERIALS IN THE FORM OF MONOGRAPH TEACHING Indah Rahmalina Email : indahrahmalina@gmail.com Grasshoppers have roles as herbivores, decomposer predators, and pests so that they have the potential to be used as ecological indicators of ecosystem quality related to ecological networks. This study aims to determine the diversity of Grasshoppers in the Cadika Park Medan, to develop research results into teaching materials in the form of Monograph books. The research method used is Descriptive Exploratory, where grasshoppers samples are collected using the roaming method and the catching is done directly using Insect Net and Hand Sorting. Measurement of environmental factors is done by taking temperature, humidity and light intensity data. The data were analyzed and calculated the diversity index and evenness index, then analyzed descriptively and identified to the species level. The results of the study were the grasshoppers diversity (H' = 0,94), number of individuals (n = 234), and the species evenness index (e = 0.66). There are 4 species of grassoppers found in the Cadika Park Medan, covering Valanga nigricornis, Xenocatantops humilis, Pseudoxya diminuta and Oxya japanica.
