Abstract: This thesis discussed the revenge experienced by the protagonist, Simba, in the movie script The Lion King, published in 2019. The purpose of this study is to determine the seek of revenge and the goal of revenge experienced by Simba. The method used to analyze this topic is a qualitative research method. This thesis is analyzed based on several literature reviews. The theory used to analyze this topic was put forward by Leland R. Beaumont. Based on the research, the authors found several findings. The first are Simba seeks revenge, namely because he feels he has been attacked and must maintain power. The second is his goal of revenge against Scar.
