Abstract: SUMMARY (RESTU NURWANTO PUTRA, 7114070153, INCREASING SOME EFFECTIVENESS OF TYPES OF ATTRACTIONS THROUGH SEVERAL TYPES OF DISPENSER ON FRUIT FLY PEST (Bactroceraspp.) ON GUAVA PLANTS (PsidiumguajavaL) This research was carried out in SawitRejo Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, will altitude of ± 500 above sea leave level. This research was suprised by Mr. Ir. EdySumantri, MP as chairman and Mr. SulaimanGinting, SP, M Agric, Sc as a supervisor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and capture of several types of attractants and media dispensers against the attractiveness of fruit fly pests on guava (Psidiumguajava L). This research was conducted in 2 stages. The first stage is a randomized block design by testing several types of attractants which are carried out in 9 levels, namely A1 (Attractant Synthesis of Methyl Eugenol 800 g / l), A2 (Patchouli Oil), A3 (Nutmeg Oil), A4 (Flower Oil) Patchouli), A5 (Cinnamon Oil), A6 (Cananga Flower Oil), A7 (Citronella Oil), A8 (Lemon Orange Oil) and A9 (Vetiver Oil). The second stage is Factorial Randomized Group Design by testing several types of attractants and media dispensers, with the first factor being 4 types of collision, A1 (Attractive Methyl Eugenol Synthesis 800 g / l), A2 (Patchouli Oil), A3 (A1 + Solvent Solution) , A4 (A2 + Solvent Solution). The second factor of the media dispenser was carried out in 3 levels, namely K (Cotton Roll Media), B (Wood Beam Media) and P (Plastic Media). The parameters observed were the number of fruit flies trapped in the bottle in the first stage, the number of non-target insects in the first stage, the number fruit flies trapped in the second stage, non-target insects in the second stage. The results showed the treatment in the first stage had a significant effect on the number of trapped fruit flies. The treatment of attractant with synthetic methyl eugenol and patchouli oil is the treatment that invites the most fruit flies so that it is trapped inside the treatment bottle. Whereas in the second stage, the results showed that treatment A1 (Attractant Methyl Eugenol Synthesis 800 g / l) was most effective in attracting fruit fly pests, this can be seen from the results of the number of fruit flies trapped in bottles compared to other types of attractants. Whereas the most effective media dispenser is K (Cotton Roll) media. This can also be seen from the number of flies trapped in bottles compared to other media. As for the interaction of treatment between types of attractants with media dispensers that have a significant effect, namely the interaction between A1 (Attractant Methyl Eugenol Synthesis 800 g / l) with K (Cotton Roll) dispenser media, this can be seen from the results of the number of fruit flies trapped in bottles compared other interactions. This second phase of research shows the results of the real effect with the graph decreasing. This is in accordance with the research conducted from starting treatment 1 HSA - 25 HSA, the amount of capture power of fruit flies decreases over time.
