PENGARUH INFRASTRUKTUR JALANTERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN UMMAT DESA AIR HITAM KECAMATAN KUALUH LEIDONG KABUPATEN LABUHAN BATU UTARA

Abstract

ABSTRACT Name: Syahril Nasution, NIM: 71190215005, Title: THE INFLUENCE OF ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE ECONOMY OF THE UMMAT OF AIR HITAM VILLAGE, KUALUH LEDONG DISTRICT, LABUHAN BATU UTARA DISTRICT The people of Air Hitam Village are generally palm oil farmers and secondary crop farmers. The people of Air Hitam Village, in meeting their daily needs, hope for plantation and agricultural harvests. However, in the current conditions, the community has not been able to improve the family's economic prosperity due to the condition of the road infrastructure along 1,327 km of all existing roads, 75% of which are in a seriously damaged condition. As a result, traffic is less smooth and hampered for farmers in their efforts to carry out transactions between farmers and buyers both around Air Hitam Village and when farmers bring their harvest from the garden or fields home until they are sold to the market. The problem in this research is whether there is an influence of road infrastructure on the economy of the community in Air Hitam Village, Kualuh Leidong District, North Labuhan Batu Regency. How does road infrastructure affect the economy of the community in Air Hitam Village, Kualuh Leidong District, North Labuhan Batu Regency. This research method uses a quantitative method with a sample of 42 people using data collection tools, observation sheets and data analysis using statistics. The results of this research show that there is an influence of road infrastructure on the economy of the community in Air Hitam Village, Kualuh Leidong District, North Labuhan Batu Regency. This can be seen from the t table 1.671 (40.353> 1.671) in the positive direction. So H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected so it can be concluded that the road infrastructure variable partially has a significant positive effect on the people's economy. The influence of road infrastructure on the economy of the community in Air Hitam Village, Kualuh Leidong District, North Labuhan Batu Regency shows a significant influence as shown in the determination test which is 94.8%. In other words, changes in the general economy can be explained by variable X, and the remaining 5.2% is explained by other factors that are not included in line research.
